TANI Anti-Doping Position
The anti-doping rules of the Taekwondo Association of Northern Ireland are the UK Anti-Doping Rules published by UK Anti-Doping (or its successor), as amended from time to time. Such rules shall take effect and be construed as rules of the Taekwondo Association of Northern Ireland.
Persons participating in the sport of Taekwondo under the jurisdiction of the Taekwondo Association of Northern Ireland who qualify as participants (as that term is defined in the Anti-Doping Rules) are bound by and must comply in all respects with the Anti-Doping Rules.
Taekwondo Association of Northern Ireland shall recognise and take all necessary steps to give full force and effect within its jurisction (a) to the Anti-Doping Rules; and (b) to any sanction(s) imposed under the Anti-Doping Rules.

Sport NI
Sport NI are now actively promoting anti-doping education within NI and have developed a Pure Winner education programme. The initiative has been established to educate and inform athletes and athlete support personnel about key issues concerning doping in sport in order for athletes to prepare and succeed in competition.
Sport Northern Ireland is committed to drug-free sport and is working with UK Sport and the Irish Sports Council to ensure that athletes and their support personnel in Northern Ireland are aware of Anti-Doping issues.
